Penetrex was simply the most helpful topical solution my husband and I have tried. We tried Penetrant, BioFreeze, and Tiger Balm. I'm delighted to hear this product will be coming in a larger tub, as we certainly use a lot of it! I would highly recommend this product for anybody with arthritis, or for occasional sports injuries.

I have been using Penetrex for the past few months and it really helps soothe and relieve pain. I have osteoarthritis of the knees so I'm currently undergoing weekly Physical Therapy treatments together with daily home exercises. Applying Penetrex after these exercises followed by ice packs allows me to continue my daily work and recreational activities virtually painless. I highly recommend this product.

This product is incomparably effective. It's wonderful! My 84 year old mother has severe osteoarthritis and this is the only cream that gives her relief from both the pain and the stiffness. This product is wonderful. I have chest wall arthritis, the result of a seatbelt injury back in the 80's before we had airbags. Once or twice a week I apply Penetrex to the painful area before I go to bed, and the pain is completely gone by the time I wake up. The pain does not return for 3-5 days, and then I just apply Penetrex again. Medication and even two injections at a pain clinic did not help me get rid of the pain, but Penetrex does. I highly recommend it.

This is the best pain relief cream I have ever used. I use it on my lower back where I have chronic pain. It relieves my pain for a good six hours or more. I can function in my normal day to day life when my back is flaring up by using this cream. Great on arthritis in my hands also. Highly recommend.

I have tested them to find a product which would help to reduce my arthritis back pain but only Penetrex helps. Applied twice a day by massaging it into the skin it greatly reduces my pain and makes it possible to get through the day with much less discomfort. Also, in contract to many other products Penetrex does not leave any stain on one's clothing or cause skin irritation. Finally, Biomax deserves high praise for its consumer oriented approach and supportive outreach to those who purchase their product. Yes, Penetrex is a little on the expensive side but well worth the money!

I have very achy hands, knees and feet in the joints from arthritis and this has been the only product that has given me any relief. It has a very slight scent and once I rub it in within a half hour I have relief from the pain. It doesn't burn like some creams I've tried, I'm very happy I found this. I have already recommended it to several friends that suffer from arthritis.

This stuff is amazing! It works very quickly and there is no discernible odor. It adsorbs into the skin very fast, so you can wear you clothing very quickly. Since it adsorbs into the skin so fast, I have not had any problems with it staining my clothing. I've used it for tendinitis in my shoulder and in most cases, I was pain free in no time, or at least the cream took away enough of the pain that I could function better than I did without using the cream. I sent some to my Mom, whose arthritis was keeping her from doing a lot of things that she used to do. Penetrex works so well for her that it has truly improved her quality of life! It doesn't take much of the cream to be effective, so find out how much works for you, and you may find that a little goes a long way, and you won't have to re-order it so often (sorry Amazon, but this stuff is that good!). This is my 3rd order of this product. I initially tried it when I developed pain in my hands which I believe to be arthritis. I used the product based on the instructions I received. I Have been using this product since December of 2015. I was skeptical because I didn't understand that something could be absorbed through the skin to relieve pain. The arthritis in my knees hurt very bad and the penetrex didn't seem to do much at first, but I followed the directions and used it three times a day for several days before I noticed that It was easier to walk and the pain was easing up. It does not have a strong odor and at least with me it didn't take away the pain completely but it works better than any over the counter pain pill. When I'm in pain I use it in the morning, when I come home from work and before I go to bed.

Penetrex is a great product. Make sure you use it as directed to get the maximum benefit. It is pricey, and to save some money, I did order a less expensive pain relief cream, but it did not work nearly as well. Needless to say, I went right back to Penetrex and will continue to use it. There is no odor, it is not greasy and goes on very smoothly. It feels like a regular body cream.

I am currently finishing my second jar of Penetrex...I find that it works effectively to ease my arthritis pain in my hips. I've used many, many natural products as I don't like to take painkillers. This stuff is amazing! I'm a huge fan of Penetrex. Although no topical will cure an injury, I've noticed quick reductions in pain from plantar fasciitis from ultra running. I even gave it to a friend with chronic arthritis who thought she'd "tried everything", and within moments she was remarkably better. It's a bit expensive but worth every penny.

Being in the medical field, I was surprised at all the 5 star ratings this product got. It didn't seem possible for there to be a cream that can relieve pain and reduce inflammation/swelling that worked as well as what everyone was saying. But after using it myself, I'm sold on this product. I'm in my early 30's, so I don't have any knee pain or arthritis... yet. But my wrists tend to be sore a lot (I'm a dentist) and I'll have the occasional shoulder, neck, or back pain either from pulling a muscle or sleeping in an awkward position. Although I don't get instant relief like a lot of reviewers state, I do find that this cream helps reduce the pain/soreness, and within a day or two of using it, everything is back to normal. So even though I'm not using this on a regular basis, it does a great job whenever I do need to use it.

This is terrific! I sprained my ankle 4 months ago, and since that time, arthritis set in, and it is still painful, swollen and stiff/sore. At first, I was skeptical about this product; and quite frankly, I didn't apply it correctly. But then I thought, well, I'm in pain, so I might as well try to use it - and use it correctly - to see what happens. Let me just say, it works. After two days of using this per directions, the ankle feels much better. Now it's still rather stiff, and I have to continue the exercises for the ankle and leg, but I can't tell you how much better it feels while doing the stretches and just walking in general. Today I ordered another jar of the stuff. It may not work for everyone, but for me, it does an admirable job. I'm starting to exercise again!

I have gone through 2 jars in the past couple of years...that says it WORKS. As an athletic person who gardens, who is pushing 50 and have many issues with Tennis Elbow, Joint, Back...ect. I can say this product has given me relief...In fact I went to go use some and my 2nd jar is empty! My arthritis in my thumbs is bad and this helps with the inflammation. I have fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis so I am pretty much always in pain. Heat, ice, tens unit and prescription pain meds are part of my daily life. For years I have been partial to a topical that unfortunately my husband can't stand the smell of so I had been looking for another. Wasn't really expecting much from this but gave it a try. It is not instantaneous relief, but after some minutes have gone by I notice that the volume has been turned down on my pain. When I was getting close to needing to reorder I decided to give the little I had left to my mom who gets pain in her wrist and hand...She loved it and had me order more for her. In her case it eliminates the pain. I take it with me when I am getting together with friends, if my neck gets bad I can discreetly rub it on and am able to participate in the fun longer. I even had someone ask what scent I had on shortly after applying because they loved the scent :)

After 20 years of taking NSAID's (mostly etodolac) to help with back pain, I had back surgery, and stopped taking the etodolac. My back pain is much better, but stopping the etololac let me know just how bad my arthritis had gotten in many other places. My left knee is the worst. Told that I should stay away from NSAID's, as well as any cortisone injections, for at least a year to let my back fully heal, I started looking for something else to help with my knee pain.

I was not entirely certain of what I was ordering here, and to be honest I didn't expect it to do much. Regardless, the day I got it I put it on a few places I have tendonitis as well as over a strained muscle, and my mother (about the biggest skeptic to ever exist) put some on her knees, where she has quite severe arthritis. By that evening we both ended up admitting that, despite ourselves, we were pretty sure it had worked fantastically. We both used it for a few more days and became complete converts.

What can I say to convince you. I myself was a skeptic and looking for serious pain relief that my doctors and medication couldn't give me. I have chronic pain in almost every joint of my body and I have been put on 4 different pain killers just to keep me comfortable but they don't always work. I have been using this for about a week now and it's progressive. I apply the cream to where it hurts and before you know it, the pain goes away...the pain will come back but not as bad, you just simply apply more cream and its gone and you can live your life again. I have severe arthritis in my left shoulder that hurt when I sneezed...I applied this and a week later I'm lifting heavy things again that I couldn't before...the only thing I can't do is lift my arm above my shoulder before it hurts but I'm sure I will be over time.

Mom reports that the Penetrex cream gives immediate, temporary relief to knee pain, especially during a rain/weather arthritis flare ups. While she found no relief in her finger and hand pain (she likes Biofreeze gel for this), she is happy with Penetrex for her knee and I will continue to have it Primed to her.

I was looking for a pain relief for inflammation, muscle spasms, arthritis and tendonitis and the one without strong fragrances and that actually work. Penetrex gives great amount of relief without the side effects of painkillers. Key is to follow instructions that come with the product. I have used this product for a year now and it is my go to pain reliever. It does not revert the condition but gives great results. I use this product before going to bed and sleep better with pain management. Prescriptions did not help me with my Knee pain for couple of weeks however with Penetrex I was up and working in 3 days. I'd been looking for something for my arthritis for quite some time and saw this on Amazon. I quite honestly figured since medication wouldn't work well--that this wouldn't either. I was wrong..Penetrex works very well and doesn't leave the smell that other creams do. It absorbs quickly and takes care of pain shortly after contact. I keep one in my purse and one by the bed and have this on my Amazon Prime monthly list. I've had fibromyalgia for about 20 years and also have arthritis . After trying many types of gels, creams, roll-ons, I can say that this is the most effective product I have ever used. It has a very mild, pleasant odor which quickly goes away. It rubs in easily but stays creamy just long enough to give your painful joint or muscle a good rub-down while the product is being absorbed. Penetrex is more expensive than some other brands, but the ingredients are very high quality and it does not just contain a bunch of inactive fillers. If you are looking for something that makes you hot or cold, this is not it -- sometimes I do want the cooling effect of Biofreeze, but that is short lived, while the anti-inflammatory effects of Penetrex are long lasting and it really does help the healing process.

My 88-year old Mom suffered from severe neck pains. It turned out she had a muscle spasm. She got a prescription for pain and was recommended biofreeze, and she got side effects from the pain meds. I did some research on Amazon and purchased Penetrex. The neck pain is almost completely gone. She also used it on her arthritis knees, and the swelling has gone done tremendously and there is no pain. She has been using it for 3 weeks now and her neck is about 90% better. I believe with continuous use for another month hopefully she will be a 100%. Awesome!

I use Penetrex daily in the morning and evening when I have muscle contractions and pain in my legs and feet. The arches in my feet are the most painful. Because I think most of the problems are due to arthritis and swelling in the joints, I use the Penetrex to relieve the swelling which helps to relieve the pain. I do like that it is not greasy and absorbs into the skin. I have tried Voltaren, a cream requiring a prescription, and am not as impressed with the results. Penetrex is not as scary to use as Voltaren nor as expensive. I would recommend Penetrex to anyone experiencing arthritis pain.

This stuff is amazing. I'm 64 years old and have had many injuries during my lifetime resulting in a body of arthritis - neck (car accident), middle back (slip & fall), lower back (fall into well), knees (tendon transfers as a child & meniscus tear), ankle (sprained 5 times), feet (damaged from standing for long periods of time) and hands (from 45 years of typing). While I have had good some experiences with other topical pain creams, none have been as helpful as Penetrex. It works quickly and brings long lasting relief. While other creams helped where there was muscle, this works great even on my hands and feet. I talked my husband into trying it for his lower back. Within minutes he was feeling better. I've recommended it to my family and friends any time I hear someone complain of aches and pains. Love that it doesn't stink, isn't sticky, and a little goes a long way. Won't be without it!

I have been using this product since it was called "Biomax" about 15 yeas ago. At that time my problem was tennis elbow (tendinitis) and I was not able to work for weeks because of the intense pain in my right arm/elbow. I had seen a physiotherapist without any results, and one day someone recommended me this product. At that point I was ready to try anything because of the intense pain, so I ordered some, and the moment I received it I immediately applied some. I repeated the application 4 hours later, and then 4 hours later again. I went to bed and woke up the next morning with my pain reduced of a good 75%!!! I was amazed, and I kept using it when I developed a little arthritis to my knee, and it also helped quite a bit there. I gave away probably 30 jars of this product to friends and family, because I know most people do not believe in non-pharmaceutical products, but once they start using it I always get thank you notes and confirmation of its beneficial usage. When occasionally some of the recipients tells me that it did not work I ask the question "have you used it regularly?" and usually the answer is "well, when I remember to", so the bottom line I tell them is that "it works only if you use it!"

I have been using this product off and on since 2013 for my SI joint which had ligaments stretched out from an auto accident. Penetrex seems to work better than the prescription lidocaine patches at dulling the sharp pain. Unlike the $300 box of prescription lidocaine patches that fall off after you apply them, this doesn't come off.

This product is pretty amazing. I have suffered from tennis elbow as well as arthritis and decided to give Penetrex a shot and was very happy with the pain relief than followed. I have and will continue to recommend Penetrex to all my friends and family.

I originally bought Penetrex for my parents who suffer from Arthritis and various other conditions associated with old age. I felt so helpless hearing about their health issues and pain, so I searched online for pain relief cream containing arnica, as I had read about its benefits for inflammatory conditions in the muscles, etc. I wanted something with natural ingredients that wouldn't have side effects or interact negatively with other medications. I came across Penetrex and saw that they had so many good reviews! I also liked the fact that they had a money back guarantee, which shows that they truly believe in their product. So, I took the leap and bought Penetrex for my parents and had it shipped to them. My parents LOVED it, and I continue to buy it for them. I even bought one for my husband when he was having some pain in his hand, and he noticed a difference in his level of pain until his hand got better. My parents especially like the non-greasy feel and the fact that it doesn't have a telltale stink (just a light, minty fragrance) that many pain creams have so they can wear it when they go out without embarrassment. The main reason my parents use it is for arthritis related issues and also my mom regularly puts it on my dad's back when it hurts from sitting up for a prolonged time in his wheelchair. Both of my parents truly believe in the effectiveness of Penetrex, and I am happy to hear that it is useful and will continue to buy it for them and myself! Thanks for a great product!

I have arthritis in a couple of my fingers on both hands and,other than looking gross, I experience pain on and off all day. This product works. I feel immediate relief and can go back to using my hands after one minute of applying this cream.

Definitely works as I use it for shoulder and neck pain. I've given it to a friend with juvenile idiopathic arthritis and he says that it helps a lot. Also, a co-worker just injured her back and has been using it for the past week and said that it really helps her. This is a great, great product for anyone in pain.

I have tried many topical creams for my neck and this is the B E S T ! It relieves my neck pain (I suffer from arthritis in my neck) and have found no other cream that works. I highly recommend !!!!

I tried this out of desperation when my arthritis in my hands became so bad. I was using arnica gel (along with tumeric and curcumin capsules) and it was helping. I needed more than that at times. The reviews of this product were so good that I decided to give it a try. I am pleased. I have recommended it to friends. As much as arnica helped, this is even better. I now use this with my curcumin and turmeric supplements and am managing quite well at this time.

This cream really does help arthritis pain. My husband was very skeptical at first, he has been using for 2 months now and loves it. The cream helps with the swelling and pain in his knees.
