PENETREX® Relief & Recovery Cream was designed and is indicated as a topical application to address joint and muscle discomfort. PENETREX® contains a proprietary combination of the following unique ingredients.

Arnica

Arnica is a botanical which has been used for centuries, primarily in Europe. There are over 100 different remedies made from this plant. The active components in Arnica are sesquiterpene lactones, which are known for their relief properties. Arnica also contains thymol (an essential oil), flavonoids, inulin, carotenoids and tannins which can help support blood circulation.

Pyridoxine
(Vitamin B6)

Vitamin B6, also called pyridoxine, helps maintain the balance of sodium and potassium which help regulate body fluids and promote normal functioning of the nerves. Research has been conducted related to the importance of Vitamin B6 in helping to provide relief to discomfort associated with repetitive muscle use.

MSM / DMSO2
Methylsulfonylmethane

Originally brought to prominence by Dr. Stanley Jacob, MSM is a relatively new dietary supplement form of sulfur that is found in our living tissues. MSM supports healthy connective tissues like tendons, ligaments, and muscle. Approximately half of the total body sulfur is concentrated in the muscles, skin and bones. One of the most significant uses of MSM as a supplement is its demonstrated ability to relieve joint and muscle discomfort.

Boswellia
Serrata

Boswellia Serrata is an herb that has a long tradition of use, especially in India (Ayurvedic remedies). This plant is native to Africa and Asia. The part of the plant that is used is the resin from the bark. The boswellic acids in this bark resin are thought to be responsible for the herb's beneficial properties. Boswellic acids are believed to support healthy connective tissue, blood supply to the joints, and healthy blood vessels.
